OUR LADY OF FATIMA & OUR
LADY OF AKITA APPARITIONS - IMPORTANT MESSAGE
Message From Our Lady Regarding Chastisement - The Reflection of
The 3rd Secret of Fatima The Apparitions
of The Blessed Virgin Mary to Sr. Agnes Sasagawa in Akita,
Japan, October 13, 1973 -1982
The Virgin Mary to Sr. Agnes Sasagawa: "My dear daughter listen well
to what I have to say to you. You will inform your superiors. As
I previously told you: if men do not repent and better
themselves, the Father will inflict a terrible punishment on all
of humanity. It will be a punishment greater than the deluge
(Flood in The Book of Genesis), such as one that has never seen
before. Fire will fall from the sky and will wipe out a great
part of humanity, the good as well as the bad, sparing neither
priests nor faithful. The survivors will find themselves so
desolate that they will envy the dead. The only arms which will
remain for you will be the Rosary and the Sign left by My Son.
Each day recite the prayers of the Rosary. With the Rosary, pray
for the Pope, the bishops and priests. The work of the devil
will infiltrate, even into the church, in such a way, that one
will see cardinals opposing cardinals, bishops against bishops.
The priests who venerate me will be scorned and opposed by their
confreres. Churches and altars will be sacked. The church will
be full of those who accept compromises and the devil will press
many priests and consecrated souls to leave the service of the
Lord. The devil will be especially implacable against souls
consecrated to God. The thought of the loss of so many souls is
the cause of my sadness. If sins increase in number and gravity,
there will be no longer pardon for them. With courage speak to
your superior. He will know how to encourage each one of you to
pray and to accomplish works of reparation ..."

excerpt from the message of Akita is what in fact convinced
Cardinal Ratzinger that this was indeed a true apparition site,
the refection of The 3rd Secret of Fatima." - Xavier

The Chaplet of Divine Mercy
Was Given For This!
"The devil hates God's Mercy because more
than anything else it brought about the creation of man, the
crown of creation,
made in God's own image and likeness, sharing in His Divine
Life."
The Divine Mercy Chaplet Prayer was revealed by Jesus Christ to
St. Faustina (and the whole world) to counteract
the acts that goes against His creation and the punishment
(chastisement) that comes from it as a result.
Divine Mercy In My Soul , St. Maria Faustina Kowalska (Diary
1276, 39)
"The Divine Mercy" Is A
Message From God and Is The Heart of The Gospels
Whether or not you accept (1) "The Sacred Heart
of Jesus" Revelation (Saint Margaret Mary Alacoque, December
1673), (2)"The Merciful Jesus"
Revelation (Saint Maria Faustina Helena Kowalska, February 22,
1931), or my own
(3) "The Divine
Mercy Image" Revelation (September 29 and October 6, 2018) The message is the
same and is not optional.
Here's why ...
"Divine Mercy is both a message and a
devotion. It is not just a devotion. While devotions are
optional, The Divine Mercy is a message from God and is the "Heart
of the Gospels" and it is therefore not optional. Therefore if
you reject The Divine Mercy, you are rejecting the Gospels." Fr.
Chris Alar, MIC (The Marian Fathers of the Immaculate
Conception of The Most Blessed Virgin Mary -
Marian Seminarians, Holy Priests, Apostles of Divine Mercy - National Shrine of The Divine Mercy, Stockbridge, MA)
3: The number 3 is significant in
the bible. Sometimes three is used as
an emphatic semitic triplet to describe the intensity of
something. It’s not just holy. It’s holy, holy, holy. The best
example is the Trinity: God is three in one: the Father (1
Corinthians 8:6), the Son (Colossians 2:9), and the Holy Spirit
(2 Corinthians 3:17). Jesus rose after three days (1 Corinthians
15:4).The Magi present to Jesus three gifts: gold, frankincense,
and myrrh in Matthew 2.
"On the
evening of the last day [November 15] of the novena at Ostra
Brama, after the singing of the litany, one of the priests
exposed the Blessed Sacrament in the monstrance. When he placed
it on the altar, I immediately saw the Infant Jesus, stretching
out His little arms, first of all toward His Mother, who at that
time had taken on a living appearance. When the Mother of God
was speaking to me, Jesus stretched out His tiny hands toward
the congregation. The Blessed Mother was telling me to accept
all that God asked of me like a little child, without
questioning; otherwise it would not be pleasing to God. At that
moment, the Infant Jesus vanished, and the Mother of God was
again lifeless, and Her picture was the same as it had been
before. But my soul was filled with great joy and gladness, and
I said to the Lord, ‘Do with me as You please; I am ready for
everything, but You, O Lord, must not abandon me even for a
moment.’” (Diary, 529)

St. Michael The Archangel
Worked Behind The Scenes In Spreading The Divine Mercy
Jesus Ordered St. Michael The Archangel
To Take Special Care of St. Faustina
"September 29, On
the Feast of St.Michael the Archangel, I saw by my side that
great Leader, who spoke these words to me: “The Lord has ordered me to take special care of you.
Know that you are hated by evil; but do not fear - 'Who is like
God!'"And he disappeared.
But I felt his presence and assistance." (Diary,706)
The Devil Hates The Divine
Mercy Message - We Are All Hated By The Devil
The devil hates us all, especially those
who try to spread The Divine Mercy Message to Save Souls. The
Devil does not want heaven for himself but he is envious as he
does not want it for us either.
"St. Michael The Archangel worked behind the scenes in spreading the devotion to
The Divine Mercy. Jesus ordered St. Michael to take special care
of St. Faustina and the reason was because she was hated by the
devil. The devil hates the Divine Mercy Message. If you do
something for God for the salvation of souls, the devil hates it
and wants to discourage us so pray to St. Michael the Archangel
and St. Faustina."

What is the Divine Mercy?
Is Divine Mercy Optional?
It is both a message and a devotion. It is
not just a devotion. While devotions are optional, the Divine
Mercy is a message from God and the "heart of the Gospels" and
it is therefore not optional. Therefore, if you reject
Divine Mercy, you are rejecting the Gospels.

What does Jesus say about
Love and Mercy in the Gospels?
What does Jesus say about what we must do to possess Eternal
Life?
The Parable of the Good Samaritan
“… Master, what
must I do to possess eternal life?
But he said to
him: What is written in the law? how readest thou? He answering,
said: 'Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with thy whole heart, and with thy
whole soul, and with all thy strength, and with all thy mind:
and thy neighbour as thyself.' And he said to him: Thou hast
answered right: this do, and thou shalt live. But he willing to
justify himself, said to Jesus: And who is my neighbour? And
Jesus answering, said: A certain man went down from Jerusalem to
Jericho, and fell among robbers, who also stripped him, and
having wounded him went away, leaving him half dead.
And it chanced, that a certain priest went down the same way:
and seeing him, passed by. In like manner also a Levite, when he
was near the place and saw him, passed by. But a certain
Samaritan being on his journey, came near him; and seeing him,
was moved with compassion. And going up to him, bound up
his wounds, pouring in oil and wine: and setting him upon his
own beast, brought him to an inn, and took care of him. And the
next day he took out two pence, and gave to the host, and said:
Take care of him; and whatsoever thou shalt spend over and
above, I, at my return, will repay thee. 'Which of these three, in thy opinion, was neighbour to him
that fell among the robbers?' But he said: 'He that
shewed mercy to him. And Jesus said to him: Go,
and do thou in like manner.' - Luke 10:25-37
The Divine
Mercy Message Concerning End Times
"As often as you
want to make Me happy, speak to the world about My great and
unfathomable mercy." (Diary 164)
"Before I
come as the Just Judge, I am coming first as the King of Mercy.
Before the day of justice arrives, there will be given to people
a sign in the heavens of this sort: All light in the heavens
will be extinguished, and there will be great darkness over the
whole earth. Then the sign of the cross will be seen in the sky,
and from the openings where the hands and the feet of the
Saviour were nailed will come forth great lights which will
light up the earth for a period of time. This will take place
shortly before the last day." (Diary 83)

it turns with trust to My Mercy." (Diary 300)
"You will

"(My daughter) Speak to the
world about My mercy; let all mankind recognize My unfathomable
mercy. It is a sign for the end times; after it will come the
day of justice. While there is still time, let them have
recourse to the fount of My mercy; let them profit from the
Blood and Water which gushed forth for them."
(Diary 848)
"Souls perish in spite of My bitter Passion.
I am giving them the last hope of salvation; that is the Feast

for all eternity." (Diary 965)
"Secretary of My mercy,
write, tell souls about this great mercy of Mine, because the
awful day, the day of My justice, is near." (Diary 965)
"Write: before I come as a
just Judge, I first open wide the door of My mercy. He who
refuses to pass through the door of My mercy must pass through
the door of My justice…”(Diary 1146)
"…I am prolonging the time
of mercy for the sake of sinners. But woe to them if they do not
recognize this time of My visitation. My daughter, secretary of
My mercy, your duty is not only to write about and proclaim My
mercy, but also to beg for this grace for them, so that they too
may glorify My mercy.” (Diary 1160)
"Come to Me, all of you." (Diary 1485)
"In the Old Covenant I sent prophets wielding
thunderbolts to My people. Today I am sending you with My mercy
to the people of the whole world. I do not want to punish aching
mankind, but I desire to heal it, pressing it to My Merciful
Heart. I use punishment when they themselves force Me to do so;
My hand is reluctant to take hold of the sword of justice.
Before the Day of Justice I am sending the Day of Mercy."

Christ, King of Mercy, to Saint Maria Faustina Helena Kowalska
"…you have to speak to the
world about His great mercy and prepare the world for the Second
Coming of Him Who will come, not as a merciful Savior, but as a
just Judge. Oh, how terrible is that day! Determined is the day
of justice, the day of divine wrath. The angels tremble before
it. Speak to souls about this great mercy while it is still the
time for granting mercy." (Diary 635)

Bible Reflections For
These Difficult Times
What Does
Forgive Mean? How Do You Live Forgiveness
Towards Someone?
What Is Required For One To Have Forgiven?
"People don't understand.
Forgive does not necessarily mean
reconciliation. It does not necessarily mean
that you have to become best friends with
somebody. I had somebody steal two thousand
dollars from me, an employee. I did not have to
go out to dinner with him or become their best
friend. I forgave them, but you can believe I
fired them. You see, Forgiveness simply means,
you let go. You wish them well. You don't
have to reconcile, but if you do reconcile now
you've elevated yourself up to mercy. Mercy is
actually greater than forgiveness." - Fr. Chris
Alar, MIC
St. John tells us to be on
guard against the enemies of Christ and against
the world
"It is not every spirit,
my dear people, that you can trust; test them,
to see if they come from God, there are many
false prophets, now, in the world. You can tell
the spirits that come from God by this: every
spirit which acknowledges that Jesus the Christ
has come in the flesh is from God; but any
spirit which will not say this of Jesus is not
from God, but is the spirit of Antichrist, whose
coming you were warned about. Well, now he is
here, in the world.Children, you have already
overcome these false prophets, because you
are from God and you have in you one who is
greater than anyone in this world; as for them,
they are of the world, and so they speak the
language of the world and the world listens to
them. But we are children of God, and those who
know God listen to us; those who are not of God
refuse to listen to us. This is how we can tell
the spirit of truth from the spirit of
falsehood."(1 John 4:4)
What
Does the Bible Say About Toxic People and
Relationships?
The
Dangers of the Last Days
"You may be quite sure
that in the last days there are going to be some
difficult times. People will be self-centred and
grasping; boastful, arrogant and rude;
disobedient to their parents, ungrateful,
irreligious; heartless and unappeasable; they
will be slanderers, profligates, savages and
enemies of everything that is good; they will be
treacherous and reckless and demented by pride,
preferring their own pleasure to God. They will
keep up the outward appearance of religion but
will have rejected the inner power of it.
Have nothing to do with people like that. (2 Timothy 3:1-5)
Jesus, the cause of
dissension
"Do not suppose that I
have come to bring peace to the earth: it is not
peace I have come to bring, but a sword. For I
have come to set a man against his father, a
daughter against her mother, a daughter-in-law
against her mother-in-law. A man’s enemies will
be those of his own household." (Matthew
10:34-26)
The
Parable of the Good Shepherd
"I tell you most
solemnly, anyone who does not enter the
sheepfold through the gate, but gets in some
other way is a thief and a brigand. The one
who enters through the gate is the shepherd
of the flock; the gatekeeper lets him in,
the sheep hear his voice, one by one he
calls his own sheep and leads them out. When
he has brought out his flock, he goes ahead
of them, and the sheep follow because they
know his voice. They never follow a stranger
but run away from him: they do not recognise
the voice of strangers.’Jesus told them this
parable but they failed to understand what
he meant by telling it to them. So Jesus
spoke to them again: ‘I tell you most
solemnly, I am the gate of the sheepfold.
All others who have come are thieves and
brigands; but the sheep took no notice of
them I am the gate. Anyone who enters
through me will be safe: he will go freely
in and out and be sure of finding pasture. The thief comes only to steal and
kill and destroy. I have come so that they
may have life and have it to the full. I am the good
shepherd: the good shepherd is one who lays
down his life for his sheep. The hired
man, since he is not the shepherd and the
sheep do not belong to him, abandons the
sheep and runs away as soon as he sees a
wolf coming, and then the wolf attacks and
scatters the sheep; this is because he is
only a hired man and has no concern for the
sheep. I am the good
shepherd; I know my own and my own know me,
just as the Father knows me and I know the
Father; and I lay down my life for my sheep.
And there are other sheep I have that
are not of this fold, and these I have to
lead as well. They too will listen to my
voice, and there will be only one flock, and
one shepherd. The Father loves me, because I
lay down my life in order to take it up
again. No one takes it from me; I lay it
down of my own free will, and as it is in my
power to lay it down, so it is in my power
to take it up again; and this is the command
I have been given by my Father." (John
10:1-18)
The Cure of the Man Born Blind
As he went along, he saw a
man who had been blind from birth.
His disciples asked him, 'Rabbi, who sinned,
this
man or his parents, that he should have
been born blind?'
'Neither he nor his
parents sinned,'
Jesus answered, 'he was born blind so
that the works of
God might be revealed in him.
'As long as day lasts we must carry out the work
of the one who sent me; the night
will soon be here when no one can work.
As long as I am in the world I am the light of
the world.'
Having said this, he spat on the ground, made a
paste with the spittle, put this over the eyes
of the blind man,
and said to him, 'Go and wash in the Pool of
Siloam' (the name means 'one who has been
sent'). So he went off and washed and came back
able to see.
His neighbours and the people who used to see
him before (for he was a beggar) said, 'Isn't
this the
man who used to sit and beg?'
Some said, 'Yes, it is the same one.' Others
said, 'No, but he looks just like him.' The
man himself said, 'Yes, I am the one.'
So they said to him, 'Then how is it that your
eyes were opened?'
He answered, 'The
man called
Jesus made a paste, daubed my eyes with
it and said to me, "Go off and wash at Siloam";
so I went, and when I washed I gained my sight.'
They asked, 'Where is he?' He answered, 'I don't
know.'
They brought to the
Pharisees the
man who had been blind.
It had been a
Sabbath day when
Jesus made the paste and opened the man's
eyes,
so when the
Pharisees asked him how he had gained his
sight, he said, 'He put a paste on my eyes, and
I washed, and I can see.'
Then some of the
Pharisees said, 'That
man cannot be from God: he does not keep
the Sabbath.' Others said, 'How can a sinner
produce signs like this?' And there was division
among them.
So they spoke to the blind
man again, 'What have you to say about
him yourself, now that he has opened your eyes?'
The
man answered, 'He is a prophet.'
However, the
Jews would not believe that the
man had been blind without first sending
for the
parents of the
man who had gained his sight and
asking them, 'Is this
man really the son of yours who you say
was born blind? If so, how is it that he is now
able to see?'
His
parents answered, 'We know he is our son
and we know he was born blind,
but how he can see, we don't know, nor who
opened his eyes. Ask him. He is old enough: let
him speak for himself.'
His
parents spoke like this out of fear of
the Jews, who had already agreed to ban from the
synagogue anyone who should acknowledge
Jesus as the Christ.
This was why his
parents said, 'He is old enough; ask
him.'
So the
Jews sent for the
man again and said to him, 'Give
glory to God! We are satisfied that this
man is a sinner.'
The
man answered, 'Whether he is a sinner I
don't know; all I know is that I was blind and
now I can see.'
They said to him, 'What did he do to you? How
did he open your eyes?'
He replied, 'I have told you once and you
wouldn't listen. Why do you want to hear it all
again? Do you want to become his disciples
yourselves?'
At this they hurled abuse at him, 'It is you who
are his disciple, we are disciples of Moses:
we know that
God spoke to Moses, but as for this man,
we don't know where he comes from.'
The
man replied,
'That
is just what is so amazing! You don't know where
he comes from and he has opened my eyes!
We know that
God
doesn't listen to sinners, but
God
does listen to people who are devout and do his
will.
Ever since the world began
it is unheard of for anyone to open the eyes of
someone born blind;
if this
man
were not from God, he wouldn't have been able to
do anything.'
They retorted, 'Are you trying to teach us, and
you a sinner through and through ever since you
were born!' And they ejected him.
Jesus heard they had ejected him, and when he
found him he said to him,
'Do you believe in the Son of man?'
'Sir,' the
man replied, 'tell me who he is so that I
may believe in him.'
Jesus said,
'You have seen him; he is speaking to you.'
The man said, 'Lord, I believe,' and worshipped
him. Jesus said:
'It is for judgement that I have come into this
world, so that those without sight may see and
those with sight may become blind.''
Hearing this, some
Pharisees who were present said to him,
'So we are blind, are we?'
Jesus replied:
If you were blind, you would not be guilty, but
since you say, 'We can see,' your guilt
remains.'
(John 9)
As St. Paul said: "For our
wrestling is not against flesh and blood; but against
principalities and powers, against the rulers of the world of
this darkness, against the spirits of wickedness in the high
places." (Ephesians 6:12)

When Is
Anger A Mortal Sin? The Catechism Of The
Catholic Church says:
"By recalling the
commandment, "You shall not kill," (Matthew
5:21) our Lord asked for peace of heart and
denounced murderous anger and hatred as immoral.
Anger is a desire
for revenge. "To desire vengeance in order to do
evil to someone who should be punished is
illicit," but it is praiseworthy to impose
restitution "to correct vices and maintain
justice."
(St.
Thomas Aquinas, STh II-II, 158, 1 ad 3)
If anger reaches the point
of a deliberate desire to kill or seriously
wound a neighbor, it is gravely against charity;
it is a mortal sin. The Lord says, "Everyone who
is angry with his brother shall be liable to
judgment." (Matthew 5:22) (CCC, 2302)
"Deliberate
hatred is contrary to charity. Hatred of
the neighbour is a sin when one deliberately
wishes him evil. Hatred of the neighbor is a
grave sin when one deliberately desires him
grave harm. "But I say to you, Love your enemies
and pray for those who persecute you, so that
you may be sons of your Father who is in
heaven." (CCC, 2303)
What Does
The Bible Say About Anger - Righteous Anger
versus Sinful Anger?
"Be angry, and yet do not
sin; do not let the sun go down on your anger,
and do not give the devil an opportunity."
(Ephesians 4:26-27)
"God judges the righteous,
and God is angry with the wicked every day."
(Psalms 7:11)
Do homage to the Son, that He
not become angry, and you perish in the way,For
His wrath may soon be kindled.
How blessed are all who take refuge in Him!
(Psalms 2:12)
Anger isn't
necessarily a sin. Jesus became angry, but angry
for the right reasons: the things that
dishonoured God and people taking advantage of or
not caring about the needs of others. Consider
Jesus' anger in driving the money changers from
the temple (Matthew 21:12-13) (John
2:13-16). Jesus' was clearly angry at the
scribes and Pharisees who were being ignorant of
God's righteousness and going about to establish
their own righteousness, refused to humbly
submit themselves into the righteousness of God
(Matthew
23:13-39).
Jesus expressed his anger at the Pharisees for
their lack of compassion for the man with the
withered hand
(Mark 3:1-6).This
is called righteous anger. Anger is sometimes
good - if it moves us to redress a wrong or
motivates us to fight for the oppressed.
The Cleansing of the
Temple
"Jesus then went into
the Temple and drove out all those who were
selling and buying there; he upset the tables of
the money-changers and the seats of the
dove-sellers. He said to them, 'According to
scripture, my house will be called a house of
prayer; but you are turning it into a bandits'
den." (Matthew 21:12-13)
"When the time of the Jewish
Passover was near Jesus went up to Jerusalem,
and in the Temple he found people selling cattle
and sheep and doves, and the money changers
sitting there. Making a whip out of cord, he
drove them all out of the Temple, sheep and
cattle as well, scattered the money changers'
coins, knocked their tables over and said to the
dove sellers, 'Take all this out of here and
stop using my Father's house as a market."(John
2:13-16)
The Scribes and
Pharisees: Their Hypocrisy and Vanity
'Alas for you,
scribes and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You shut
up the kingdom of Heaven in people's faces,
neither going in yourselves nor allowing others
to go who want to. 'Alas for you, scribes and
Pharisees, you hypocrites! You travel over sea
and land to make a single proselyte, and anyone
who becomes one you make twice as fit for hell
as you are. 'Alas for you, blind guides! You
say, "If anyone swears by the Temple, it has no
force; but anyone who swears by the gold of the
Temple is bound." Fools and blind! For which is
of greater value, the gold or the Temple that
makes the gold sacred? Again, "If anyone swears
by the altar it has no force; but anyone who
swears by the offering on the altar, is bound."
You blind men! For which is of greater worth,
the offering or the altar that makes the
offering sacred? Therefore, someone who
swears by the altar is swearing by that and by
everything on it. And someone who swears by the
Temple is swearing by that and by the One who
dwells in it. And someone who swears by heaven
is swearing by the throne of God and by the One
who is seated there. 'Alas for you,
scribes and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You pay
your tithe of mint and dill and cummin and have
neglected the weightier matters of the
Law-justice, mercy, good faith! These you should
have practised, those not neglected. You
blind guides, straining out gnats and swallowing
camels! 'Alas for you, scribes and Pharisees,
you hypocrites! You clean the outside of cup and
dish and leave the inside full of extortion and
intemperance. Blind Pharisee! Clean the inside
of cup and dish first so that it and the outside
are both clean. 'Alas for you, scribes and
Pharisees, you hypocrites! You are like
whitewashed tombs that look handsome on the
outside, but inside are full of the bones of the
dead and every kind of corruption. In just the
same way, from the outside you look upright, but
inside you are full of hypocrisy and
lawlessness. 'Alas for you, scribes and
Pharisees, you hypocrites! You build the
sepulchres of the prophets and decorate the
tombs of the upright, saying, "We would never
have joined in shedding the blood of the
prophets, had we lived in our ancestors' day."
So! Your own evidence tells against you! You are
the children of those who murdered the prophets!
Very well then, finish off the work that your
ancestors began. 'You serpents, brood of vipers,
how can you escape being condemned to hell? This
is why -- look -- I am sending you prophets and
wise men and scribes; some you will slaughter
and crucify, some you will scourge in your
synagogues and hunt from town to town; and so
you will draw down on yourselves the blood of
every upright person that has been shed on
earth, from the blood of Abel the holy to the
blood of Zechariah son of Barachiah whom you
murdered between the sanctuary and the altar.
In truth I tell you, it will all recoil on this
generation. 'Jerusalem, Jerusalem, you that kill
the prophets and stone those who are sent to
you! How often have I longed to gather your
children together, as a hen gathers her chicks
under her wings, and you refused! Look! Your
house will be deserted, for, I promise, you
shall not see me any more until you are saying:
Blessed is he who is coming in the name of the
Lord!'"
(Matthew 23:13-39)
Cure of the Man with a
Withered Hand
He went again into a
synagogue, and there was a man there who had a
withered hand. And they were watching him to see
if he would cure him on the sabbath day, hoping
for something to use against him. He said to the
man with the withered hand, ‘Stand up out in the
middle!’Then he said to them, ‘Is it against the
law on the sabbath day to do good, or to do
evil; to save life, or to kill?’ But they said
nothing. Then, grieved to find them so obstinate,
he looked angrily round at them, and said to the
man, ‘Stretch out your hand’. He stretched it
out and his hand was better. The Pharisees went
out and at once began to plot with the Herodians
against him, discussing how to destroy him.
(Mark 3:1-6)
What
does The Bible say about Life
and Death? Life and Death are under God's Control!
"Since his days are measured out, since his tale
of months depends on you, since you assign him
bounds he cannot pass, "turn your eyes from him,
leave him alone, like a hired labourer, to
finish his day in peace." (Job 14:5-6)
"Nor is he in
need of anything, that he should be served by
human hands; on the contrary, it is he who gives
everything -- including life and breath -- to
everyone. From one single principle he not only
created the whole human race so that they could
occupy the entire earth, but he decreed the
times and limits of their habitation."
(Acts17:25-26)
"Your eyes could see my
embryo. In your book all my days were inscribed,
every one that was fixed is there."
(Psalms 139:16)
"But
my trust is in you, Yahweh; I say, 'You are my
God,' every moment of my life is in your hands,
rescue me from the clutches of my foes who
pursue me; let your face shine on your servant,
save me in your faithful love."
(Psalms 31:14-16)
"Go
and say to Hezekiah, "Yahweh, the God of your
ancestor David, says this: I have heard your
prayer and seen your tears. I shall cure you: in
three days' time you will go up to the Temple of
Yahweh. I shall add fifteen years to your life."
(Isaiah 38:5)
"You
have defied the Lord of heaven, you have had the
vessels from his Temple brought to you, and you,
your noblemen, your wives and the women singing
for you have drunk your wine out of them. You
have praised gods of gold and silver, of bronze
and iron, of wood and stone, which can neither
see, hear nor understand; but you have given no
glory to the God in whose hands are your breath
itself and all your fortunes." (Daniel 5:23)
"And the King
will answer, "In truth I tell you, in so far as
you did this to one of the least of these
brothers of Mine, you did it to Me."(Matthew
25:40)
"About times and
dates, brothers, there is no need to write to
you, for you are well aware in any case that the
Day of the Lord is going to come like a thief in
the night." (1
Thessalonians, 5:1-2)
The Sin of
Pride - The Increase of Human Wickedness -The
Diversity of Languages in the World
This story illustrates
increasing human wickedness, shown here in the
sinful pride that human beings take in their own
achievements apart from God. Secondarily, the
story explains the diversity of languages among
the peoples of the earth.
Tower of Babel
The
whole world had the same language and the
same words.
When
they were migrating from the east, they came
to a valley in the land of Shinar*
and settled there.
They
said to one another, “Come, let us mold
bricks and harden them with fire.” They used
bricks for stone, and bitumen for mortar.
Then
they said, “Come, let us build ourselves a
city and a tower with its top in the sky,*
and so make a name for ourselves; otherwise
we shall be scattered all over the earth.”
The
LORD came down to see the city and the tower
that the people had built.
Then
the LORD said: If now, while they are one
people and all have the same language, they
have started to do this, nothing they
presume to do will be out of their reach.
Come,
let us go down and there confuse their
language, so that no one will understand the
speech of another.
So the
LORD scattered them from there over all the
earth, and they stopped building the city.
That is
why it was called Babel,*
because there the LORD confused the speech
of all the world. From there the LORD
scattered them over all the earth. (Genesis
11:1-9)
"The Lord is my shepherd;
there is nothing I shall want." - Psalms 23:1
The Lord
Is
All Knowing and All Powerful - He Is
All Loving, and His Love Is Unconditional
and Eternal.
"Before I formed you in the womb I knew
you; before you came to birth I
consecrated you; I appointed you as
prophet to the nations." (Jeremiah 1:5)
"Yes,
I know what plans I have in mind for
you, Yahweh declares, plans for peace,
not for disaster, to give you a future
and a hope. When you call to me and come
and pray to me, I shall listen to you.
When you search for me, you will find
me; when you search wholeheartedly for
me, I
shall let you find me (Yahweh declares.
I shall restore your fortunes and gather
you in from all the nations and wherever
I have driven you, Yahweh declares. I
shall bring you back to the place from
which I exiled you)." (Jeremiah
29:11-14)
The
Lord is Merciful
"Oh,
how ardently I desire that every soul
would praise Your mercy. Happy is the
soul that calls upon the mercy of the
Lord. It will see that the Lord will
defend it as His glory, as He said. And
who would dare fight against God? All
you souls,
praise the Lord's mercy by trusting in
His mercy all your life and especially
at the hour of your death. And fear
nothing, dear soul, whoever you are; the
greater the sinner, the greater his
right to Your mercy, O Lord. O
incomprehensible goodness! God is the
first to stoop to the sinner. O Jesus, I
wish to glorify Your mercy on behalf of
thousands of souls. I know very well, O
my Jesus, that
I am to keep telling souls about Your
goodness, about Your incomprehensible
mercy." (Diary 598)
"+
Today the Lord said to me,
My
daughter, My pleasure and delight,
nothing will stop Me from granting you
graces. Your misery does not hinder My
mercy.My daughter, write that the
greater the misery of a soul, the
greater its
right to My mercy; [urge] all souls to
trust in the unfathomable abyss of My
mercy, because I want to save them all.On the cross, the fountain of My mercy
was opened wide by the lance for all
souls-no one have I excluded!" (Diary
1182)
"O my
Jesus, I implore You by the goodness of
Your most sweet Heart, let Your anger
diminish and show us Your mercy. May
Your wounds be our shield against Your
Father's justice.
I have come to know You, O God, as the
source of mercy that vivifies and
nourishes every soul. Oh, how great is
the mercy of the Lord; it surpasses all
His other qualities! Mercy is the
greatest attribute of God; everything
that surrounds me speaks to me of this.
Mercy is the life of souls; His
compassion is inexhaustible. O Lord,
look on us and deal with us according to
Your countless mercies, according to
Your great mercy."
(Diary
611)
"Write
this: Everything that exists is
enclosed in the bowels of My mercy, more
deeply than an infant in its mother's
womb. How painfully distrust of My
goodness wounds Me! Sins of distrust
wound Me most painfully."
(Diary, 1076)
Jesus:
My child, do you fear the God of mercy?
My holiness does not prevent Me from
being merciful. Behold, for you I have
established a throne of mercy on
earth-the tabernacle-and from this
throne I desire to enter into your
heart. I am not surrounded by a retinue
or guards. You can come to me at any
moment, at any time; I want to speak to
you and desire to grant you grace.
Soul:
Lord, I doubt that You will pardon my
numerous sins; my misery fills me with
fright.
Jesus:
My mercy is greater than your sins and
those of the entire world.
Who can
measure the extent of my goodness? For
you I descended from heaven to earth;
for you I allowed myself to be nailed to
the cross; for you I let my Sacred Heart
be pierced with a lance, thus opening
wide the source of mercy for you. Come,
then, with trust to draw graces from
this fountain. I never reject a contrite
heart. Your misery has disappeared in
the depths of My mercy. Do not argue
with Me about your wretchedness. You
will give me pleasure if you hand over
to me all your troubles and
griefs. I
shall heap upon you the treasures of My
grace.
(Diary, 1485)
Conversation of the Merciful God with a
Despairing Soul
Jesus: "O soul steeped in
darkness, do not despair. All is not yet
lost. Come and confide in your God, who
is love and mercy"
But the soul, deaf
even to this appeal, wraps itself in
darkness.
Jesus calls out
again:"My child, listen to the voice
of your merciful Father."
- In the soul arises
this reply: "For me there is no mercy,"
and it falls into greater darkness, a
despair which is a foretaste of hell and
makes it unable to draw near to God.
Jesus calls to the soul a third time,
but the soul remains deaf and blind,
hardened and despairing. Then the mercy
of God begins to exert itself, and,
without any co-operation from the soul,
God grants it final grace. If this too
is spurned, God will leave the soul in
this self-chosen disposition for
eternity. This grace emerges from the
merciful Heart of Jesus and gives the
soul a special light by means of which
the soul begins to understand God's
effort; but conversion depends on its
own will. The soul knows that this, for
her, is final grace and, should it show
even a flicker of good will, the mercy
of God will accomplish the rest. (1486)
The
Lord Tells Us Not To Be Anxious Or
Afraid
"Do
not be anxious about
anything, but in every
situation, by prayer and
petition, with
thanksgiving, present
your requests to God.
And the peace of God,
which transcends all
understanding, will
guard your hearts and
your minds in Christ
Jesus." (St. Paul,
Philippians 4:6-7)
"But
he said to me, "My grace
is sufficient for you,
for my power is made
perfect in weakness."
Therefore I will boast
all the more gladly
about my weaknesses, so
that Christ's power may
rest on me."
(St. Paul, 2
Corinthians, 12:9)
"On one occasion, I felt
an urge to set to work
and fulfill whatever God
is demanding of me. I
entered the chapel for a
moment and heard a voice
in my soul saying,
Why are you afraid? Do
you think that I will
not have enough
omnipotence to support
you?At that
moment, my soul felt
extraordinary strength,
and all the adversities
that could befall me in
carrying out God's will
seemed as nothing to
me." (Diary, 527)
"Jesus:
My child, know that the greatest
obstacles to holiness are discouragement
and an exaggerated anxiety.
These will
deprive you of the ability to practice
virtue. All temptations united together
ought not disturb your interior peace,
not even momentarily. Sensitiveness and
discouragement are the fruits of
self-love. You should not become
discouraged, but strive to make My love
reign in place of your self-love. Have
confidence, My child. Do not lose heart
in coming for pardon, for I am always
ready to forgive you. As often as you
beg for it, you glorify My mercy."
(Diary 1488)
"When
I was somewhat overcome by the fear that
I was to be outside the community for so
long a time alone, Jesus said to me,
You
will not be alone, because I am with you
always and everywhere. Near to My Heart,
fear nothing. I myself am the cause of
your departure. Know that My eyes follow
every move of your heart with great
attention. I am bringing you into
seclusion so that I myself may form your
heart according to My future plans. What
are you afraid of? If you are with Me,
who will dare touch you? Nevertheless, I
am very pleased that you confide your
fears to Me, My daughter: Speak to Me
about everything in a completely simple
and human way; by this you will give Me
great joy. I understand you because I am
God-Man. This simple language of your
heart is more pleasing to Me than the
hymns composed in My honor. Know, My
daughter, that the simpler your speech
is, the more you attract Me to yourself.
And now, be at peace close to My Heart.
Lay your pen aside and get ready to
leave." (Diary, 797)
VIVA CRISTO
REY! - LONG LIVE CHRIST THE KING!
Solemnity of Our Lord Jesus Christ King of the Universe
The Feast of Christ The King -
November 24, 2024
Christus Vincit,
Christus Regnat, Christus Imperat
Christ Has Conquered, Christ Now Rules, Christ Now Reigns
Supreme
Pope Pius XI instituted the Feast of Christ the King in his
encyclical
Quas Primas of 1925, in response to growing secularism and
nationalism, and in the context of the unresolved
Roman Question
"It has long been a common custom
to give to Christ the metaphorical title of "King," because of
the high degree of perfection whereby he excels all creatures.
So he is said to reign "in the hearts of men," both by
reason of the keenness of his intellect and the extent of his
knowledge, and also because he is very truth, and it is from him
that truth must be obediently received by all mankind. He
reigns, too,in the wills of men, for in him the
human will was perfectly and entirely obedient to the Holy Will
of God, and further by his grace and inspiration he so subjects
our free-will as to incite us to the most noble endeavors. He is
King of hearts, too, by reason of his "charity
which exceedeth all knowledge." And his mercy and kindness
which draw all men to him, for never has it been known, nor will
it ever be, that man be loved so much and so universally as
Jesus Christ. But if we ponder this matter more deeply, we
cannot but see that the title and the power of King belongs to
Christ as man in the strict and proper sense too. For it is only
as man that he may be said to have received from the Father
"power and glory and a kingdom,"since the Word of God, as
consubstantial with the Father, has all things in common with
him, and therefore has necessarily supreme and absolute dominion
over all things created." (Pope Pius XI, Quas Primas,
7)
"When once men recognize, both in
private and in public life, that Christ is King, society will at
last receive the great blessings of real liberty, well-ordered
discipline, peace and harmony." (Pope Pius XI, Quas Primas, 19)
Mankind will not have
peace until it turns with trust to My mercy.” (Diary,
300)
"For, I
promise, you shall not see me any more until you say: Blessings
on him who comes in the name of the Lord!" (Matthew 23:39)
MATER DEI - MOTHER OF GOD
January 1, 2024 - New Year's Day
Solemnity of the Blessed Virgin Mary, The
Mother of God
“And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among
us, (and we saw his glory, the glory as it were
of the only begotten of the Father,) full of
grace and truth.”(John
1:14)
"I am the true vine, and my Father is the
vinedresser. Every branch in me that bears
no fruit He cuts away, and every branch that
does bear fruit He prunes to make it bear even
more. You are pruned already, by means of the
word that I have spoken to you. Make your home
in Me, as I make mine in you. As a branch cannot
bear fruit all by itself, but must remain part
of the vine, neither can you unless you remain
in Me. I am the vine, you are the branches.
Whoever remains in Me, with Me in him, bears
fruit in plenty; for cut off from me you can do
nothing. Anyone who does not remain in Me is
like a branch that has been thrown away – he
withers; these branches are collected and thrown
on the fire, and they are burnt. If you remain
in Me and My words remain in you, you may ask
what you will and you shall get it. It is to the
glory of my Father that you should bear much
fruit, and then you will be my disciples. As the
Father has loved Me, so I have loved you. Remain
in My love, If you keep my commandments you will
remain in my love, just as I have kept My
Father’s commandments and remain in His love. I
have told you this so that My own joy may be in
you and your joy be complete. This is My
commandment: love one another, as I have loved
you. A man can have no greater love than to lay
down his life for his friends. You are my
friends, if you do what I command you.I shall
not call you servants any more, because a
servant does not know his master’s business; I
call you friends, because I have made known to
you everything I have learnt from My Father. You
did not choose me, no, I chose you; and I
commissioned you to go out and to bear fruit,
fruit that will last; and then the Father will
give you anything you ask him in My name. What I
command you is to love one another." (John 15)
"While he was still speaking, behold, a bright
cloud cast a shadow over them, - then from the
cloud came a voice that said,
“This is my beloved Son, with whom I am well
pleased; listen to him.” (Transfiguration of Jesus, Matthew 17:5)
St. Agnes (St. Agnes of Rome)The Martyr
(d. 305)
Feast Day:
January 21 Patron Saint: of Young Girls,
Chastity, Rape Survivors and The Children of
Mary
"Women have never been
at this low amp (degraded) in the history of
the world.
Women today are considered tools of
pleasure, that's all." - Mother Angelica
"He (Rev. Dr. Formigao,
Lucia's First Spiritual Director) showed me
a holy picture of St. Agnes, told me about
her martyrdom and encouraged me to imitate
her.
"My child you must love Our Lord very much
in return for so many favours and graces
that He is granting you."
These words made such an impression on my
soul that, from then on, I acquired the
habit of constantly saying to Our Lord: "My
God, I love You, in thanksgiving for the
graces which You have granted me."
(Fatima In Lucia's
Own Words, Pg 76)
St. Agnes Is A Role
Model For All Women's Power In Christ To
Define Their Own Identities
"Agnes chose Christ as her spouse and
refused to worship the gods of the Roman
culture. Her name is mentioned in the Roman
Canon (First Eucharistic Prayer) of the Mass
– an indicator of veneration at an early
date. She is often depicted in art with a
lamb (Latin agnus). The name Agnes is
actually derived from the feminine Greek
adjective “hagnē” (‘Aγνή) meaning “chaste,
pure, sacred”. In Latin, it is associated
with agnus, the word for “lamb”.
Although sometimes in the past virginity has
been idealised and exalted to the lessening
of the sanctity of married women, the
following comment of Robert Ellsberg, in his
book Blessed among all women: women saints
prophets and witnesses for our time, is
worth noting:
"In the story of Agnes the opposition is not
between sex and virginity. The conflict is
between a young woman’s power in Christ to
define her own identity versus a patriarchal
culture’s claim to identify her in terms of
her sexuality. According to the view shared
by her “suitors” and the state, if she would
not be one man’s wife, she might as well be
every man’s whore. Failing these options,
